Braveheart Men’s Circle
Many of us were never taught how to be with our emotions, communicate honestly, receive support, or build meaningful relationships with other men. This circle exists to practice those skills together.
This is a place to bring whatever is true for you - grief, joy, fear, uncertainty, celebration, or play. You are not expected to have it all figured out. You are invited to show up authentically, listen openly, share what is real, and meet others with curiosity and care.

For over a decade I struggled with porn use.
I’ve sat in 12 step groups for this addiction for hundreds of hours and I can tell you that unlike substance addictions this one is complex and particularly sneaky! And almost no one in these rooms is achieving their goals of sobriety.
I overcame it by building my somatic capacity, getting support from others, and addressing big issues in my life. Recovering from porn and sex addiction took ruthless loving intimacy with myself. It required me to find my purpose in the world and to meet grief I was holding around my sexuality.
We do this and adjacent work in Braveheart Men’s Circle. This work cannot be done alone.
In addition to group work, I offer 1:1 Coaching - learn more here.
Core Skills We'll Practice:
Intimacy: Can I let myself be seen?
Emotional Intelligence: What am I feeling?
Somatics: What is happening in the body?
Presence: Can I be here now?
Formats:
We will often do “circle work” or a group sharing format but circles may include the following formats:
Journaling and Reflective Exercises, Open Sharing, Group Feedback, Group Counsel, Community Singing, Grief Work, Vision Boarding, Prayer, Authentic Relating Exercises, Appreciation Practices, Intimacy Practices, Group Meditation
“Men who are interested in participating in groups that Nils facilitates should know that the container is capable of holding weight. It's not a space where you come to mask although you’re welcome to.. it's a space where you come to try on vulnerability and see that there’s room to be loved.
I think we all hold onto complexes around masculinity and ideas about what being a man is; with these groups, you get to find out what the core qualities are of your masculinity instead of leaning on ideas about it.”
Mark, Men’s Group Participant
